Welcome to the team Jesska!

Jesska started with us in a voluntary role prior to Christmas as part of a program designed to assist with getting people back into the workforce. As a mother with a young son Jesska was keen to find a role that would suit the different priorities she has in her life. With that in mind once she had completed the 10 week program we were more than happy to offer her a role within our company. Jesska is currently learning a variety of tasks including tattoo, sticker and flat sheet printing and occasionally has a dabble in textile printing as well! She has already proved to be a valuable asset to the team and we look forward to her continuing development within our structure.

Pad Printing (finally)!

We have just placed an order through an Australian company for a brand new pad-printing machine. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this process it is basically a machine designed to print onto a range of non-flat or textured products. These can be items such as pens, golf balls, balloons, electronic componentry and compendiums to name a few. We are committed to increasing the range of services we have to offer and saw pad printing as the next logical step in continuing with our 'one stop shop' philosophy to our wholesale and general clients. We are incredibly excited by this acquisition and welcome any comments or questions you may have in regard to how this may affect you. Hi-vis Galore....

Many of our suppliers have expanded their range of hi-vis clothing and one in particular has taken it one step further and is offering a great range of coloured garments (not just navy & bottle green) to assist companies in matching their safety clothing to their corporate colours. They haven't quite updated their site yet but we can supply a range of images or alternatively send you the catalogue to view the product available. Also in the range is a hi-vis 100% cotton polo shirt, a great idea for any tradesman in an industry where polyester can melt when exposed to high heat or electrical flashes. A wee reminder...

This is a friendly reminder to all our clients that our standard terms of trade (once an account is set up) is payment by the 20th of the month following the invoice date. Our business is no different to most others in that we rely on the reliability of our clients to pay as close to that 20th date as possible. For those of you that are regularly within our trading terms we thank you in advance and for those who may slip from time to time we are more than happy to discuss possible payment options.
 

Updated Performance Results....

Each time we publish a newsletter we want to use it as an opportunity to do a bit of obvious self promotion! With that in mind listed to the left is the results of the Jan-March quarter which shows our 'jobs completed on time' information Basically what this tells us is how many jobs we are completing in the timeframe required by the client. We are pretty proud of the fact that we can consistently hit in excess of 90% but are obviously always looking at ways to improve. How many other screen printers do you know that can generate these sorts of results on a regular basis let alone have that information available!?
