Rest those bones...!

Tanaya (in our admin role) has moved on and in her place is Anne Berryman. A lot of you may recognise that name as Anne has been in our production area for the last 12 years in the role of screen printer. Anne was after a change and an opportunity came up that enabled her to rest those weary bones! She has been dropped well and truly into the deep end but knowing her commitment to quality in the screen printing area I am confident she will be up to speed in no time. In fact I firmly believe she will be keeping me on my toes as we now share an office! Had to happen...

As of the 1st February we have a new repeat set up pricing structure that will take affect. After reviewing our repeat set up costs for the last 12 months it has become obvious that the point of difference we have with other screen printers is no longer viable. With this in mind there will be a $20.00 + GST per colour repeat set up cost to allow for the time and consumables associated with putting the job back up. This cost is regardless of the quantity but we are certainly prepared to discuss it more if you have a particular job you are price restrictive on. If the job is coming back in often enough (i.e. monthly) we will permanently leave it on screen therefore avoiding that repeat set up cost. We're good! (or so we think)

As we continue to develop our on-line system we are gathering more information all the time on our performance. With this in mind we wanted to start advertising our efficiency achievements as we continue to improve. Over the last 12 months we have made some significant changes to the way we process the work we do and with Lisa's involvement as production coordinator supported by a very close knit team we now have our delivery times at a far superior level. Over the 2 month period prior to Christmas (Nov-Dec) we had a 93% hit rate of jobs completed on time compared to 74% for the same time last year. We will continue to report this information on a regular basis as we feel this is one of our main strengths that differentiate us from our competition.
