Christmas build up...

It may seem a bit premature, but now we are into September Christmas is literally just around the corner! With this in mind we are anticipating the normal production demands from our client base (even more so now we have a pad printing capability) and want to use this as an opportunity to advise our Christmas closing dates and get some feedback regarding January opening. The plan is to close down for the year on Tuesday the 23rd December and re-opening will most likely be the 12th January. If you are aware of any upcoming jobs early in January where these dates may not work please let us know. Some of our team are flexible when they come back so we should be able to accommodate any requirement you have. So long Nigel...!

Nigel Wilson, who has been in our graphic design role for the last 2 years, has decided to move on to an IT position within council. Nigel has been a great asset around the place and was the creator behind our incredibly efficient on-line production system. Nigel was an excellent team player and will be missed by staff and clients alike. Stepping into his role is Lisa Mahan, who for those of you that don't know already currently runs our production coordination. We have decided to integrate these 2 roles and believe that the relationship created with clients through proofing and artwork creation blends well with our existing production coordinator role. Lisa has spent considerable time over the last 6 weeks learning some of the tricks of the artwork trade and is picking it up exceptionally well. Do have patience however, if you find things are not quite right or take slightly longer than normal as it is a huge learning curve for her! We are on the move....

As mentioned in our last eletter we are on the move! This will be taking place on the 9th & 10th of October and we will back up and running on Monday the 13th October. Any jobs due out around these dates we will be endeavouring to complete prior to moving to avoid having to relocate the stock. If you have a job that is required around this time that you want to ensure is ready in time please contact lisa@screenconcepts.co.nz ASAP to pre-book it. We will send another reminder out early next month to advise location etc but click here to check it out in advance.

 

Updated Performance Results....

Each time we publish a newsletter we want to use it as an opportunity to do a bit of obvious self promotion! With that in mind listed to the left is the results for the last period which shows our 'jobs completed on time' information. Basically what this tells us is how many jobs we are completing in the timeframe required by the client. This shows us we have had a 7% decrease from the last report. This was due to the large number of sick days we had which we believe is normal for this time of year. How many other screen or pad printers do you know that can generate these sorts of results on a regular basis let alone have that information available at any time!?
