Textile Printing

Within our textile operation we can screen print onto most types of fabric and made up garments, and can produce print solutions that will be effective and durable.

Over the years we have been faced with some very interesting requests, from printed possum skins to underwear so you can guarantee that there is a good chance we have developed a screen printing process to produce the desired result.

Direct screen printing is suitable for going onto most types of fabrics. As these fabrics continue to develop from a technical point of view we are continually refining the processes we print on them. Merino is now one of most popular fabrics we print on to so with that in mind we have produced some outstanding results in both solvent and water based inks. As the popularity of this product continues to increase so will the demand for new effects. We are constantly investing time back into our screen print processes to ensure we have 'fresh' looks being produced.

To assist with the design development of the clothing manufacturers we deal with, we also have a large format screen printing service available. This means we can screen print onto cut panels as large as 1200x800mm on one of our automated machines which ensures we get a consistent result. We have found over the last couple of years that the size of the design preferred onto many fashion labels has grown hence the reason we wanted to add this process to our range of services.

Another area that we have developed is the use of special effects inks. Through the use of these inks we can produce effects such as 3D, foil, flock, metallic and blister base to name a few.
